I am a fully qualified and insured Health and Wellbeing specialist specialising in massage and energy healing, particularly sports & deep tissue massage. I have 20 years of experience helping people from all walks of life and sporting backgrounds to manage and overcome painful musculoskeletal conditions.

I have worked alongside osteopaths and chiropractors to treat people of all ages, from the very young to the elderly. I also worked as a massage tutor for an award-winning training school.

I believe that everyone deserves to live a pain-free, active and healthy life, and my aim is to help people to achieve this.

Why I Can Help…

After suffering from a very painful muscular condition that prevented me from standing or walking without experiencing excruciating pain

I was also misdiagnosed as having arthritis of the hip after giving birth to my third son, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and go down the natural health route.

After several sessions of deep tissue massage and pelvic manipulations, I was pain-free. The relief I felt was indescribable, and from then on, I wanted to make it my purpose to help others to become pain-free.

I now focus on bringing together all of the knowledge and experience that I have gained over the last 20 years to provide unique tailored treatment plans to my clients and have a passion for helping people live a happy, healthy and active life where they can participate in all of the hobbies and activities that they enjoy, remaining mobile and agile for many, many years.

What's Important
To Me...

I have always had an interest in alternative and natural medicine

From a young age, particularly in massage and reflexology and as a teenager, I taught myself some techniques from books and treated my close family to mini massages…

However, this was not considered an appropriate career choice by them when I left school, so I studied nutrition and catering at college and went into the hospitality industry.

My massage passion never left me, and when I had children, I used gentle massage techniques to calm them. After having my 3rd son, I finally had the opportunity to train properly and become a fully qualified and insured massage practitioner.

This came about after suffering from a condition called Piriformis syndrome, although I didn’t know that’s what it was at the time. The condition started after giving birth and caused so much pain that I could barely walk. Getting out of bed and putting my foot on the floor in the mornings sent me screaming in pain and falling back onto the bed. I used to have to physically pick my left leg up with my hand to be able to get in and out of the car.

On visiting my GP, I was told that I had arthritis of the hip. I couldn’t believe my ears, and it couldn’t be true, I couldn’t have arthritis at my age!!

I got a second opinion and visited an osteopathic clinic where I received soft tissue massage and manipulation to re-align my pelvis. After just 3-4 sessions, I was back to living normally, completing my usual everyday activities and looking after and playing with my boys.

After completing my initial Holistic massage qualification, I quickly followed it with Sports Massage and Indian Head Massage courses and began working as a mobile therapist. I continued to develop my skills over the following years to include Reflexology, Reiki and Manual Lymphatic drainage to name just a few, and have had an incredible journey with opportunities that have led me to work alongside osteopaths and chiropractors, taken me into the corporate world delivering massage in factories and offices and also allowed me to teach massage workshops and courses for two award winning training schools.

From thinking that I would end up in a wheelchair 20 years ago, I now train with a PT three times a week and 7 years ago took up Ballroom and Latin dancing. I now regularly compete in both regional and national competitions and in my 50’s am now more active than I have ever been.
